Three Wedding Workshop Spots Available! - October 12th 2011

I am excited to announce that I will be putting on an all-day workshop on October 12!
I have a bride who has graciously consented to allow me to use her actual wedding as a teaching situation. We will be shooting photos outside a temple in the morning, followed by an early afternoon bridal shoot (This shoot will be with models, not the actual bride) then finishing off the day with the evening reception.
The cost will be $500 and I am limiting the workshop to just four people so there will be oodles of very personal attention throughout the process.

Topics of discussion will include:
Posing
Natural lighting
Off-camera lighting
Dealing with less-flattering light
Working the crowd
Tips and techniques for shooting the details
Photojournalism vs. set-up situations
General wedding ebb and flow
How to find/define your style
...and anything else you'd like to learn!

The workshop also includes one hour of one-on-one editing/workflow instruction, (your place or mine,) my custom personal collection of Lightroom presets.

If  you want to be fully comfortable with the arduous process of shooting a full wedding, this workshop is for you.

The basic theory and workings of your camera will not be discussed in depth so you should know your camera and basic theory. Obviously questions and clarifications will be discussed in the process but there won't be time to lay out basic theory or camera functionality in a classroom situation.

Bring any gear you'd like to learn to use and we'll go through it.

Email me or call me at 801-949-2044 for availability or with any questions. One spot is gone already!

Looking forward to it!

Jon
